Prudential Beneficial Transitions to Belife Insurance

No policy changes as Cameroon, Togo, and Côte d’Ivoire insurer rebrands after more than 50 years of local service, CEO assures.

Prudential Beneficial Transitions to Belife Insurance

DOUALA, April 2026 – After several years of successful operations under the Prudential Beneficial Insurance brand in Cameroon, Togo, and Côte d’Ivoire, the company has announced its transition to Belife Insurance. The change, effective immediately, reinforces a legacy of more than five decades dedicated to serving local markets.

Existing policyholders need not worry. According to the official release, all current policies, guarantees, and services will continue without interruption. Coverage and customer support remain unchanged.

A strategic rebranding, not just a new look

The move is described by the insurer as “far more than a change in visual identity”. It aims to strengthen local presence, affirm a pan-African identity, and develop new solutions tailored to the specific needs of each market.

“We take great pride in our heritage and in the trust we have built with our policyholders, both over the past five years under the Prudential Beneficial Insurance brand, and throughout more than fifty years of uninterrupted service,” said Brain Nkwenti, Chief Executive Officer of Belife Insurance Cameroon.

“As we begin this new chapter as Belife Insurance, we remain firmly committed to our mission: empowering individuals and businesses to move forward with confidence through solutions designed to protect what matters most.”

What the change means for customers and partners

  • No changes to current policies or coverage

  • The same reliable, high-quality service, reinforced by stronger local engagement

  • A refreshed brand identity reflecting a long-term vision for the decades ahead

With the tagline “The Boldness to Be”, Belife Insurance reaffirms its promise of long-term protection, a relationship rooted in trust and empathy, and accessible, responsive support.
